As Newport Beach faces the challenge of re-building much of our infrastructure, we need experienced, competent leadership involved at every level.
I built my professional career managing major infrastructure projects. As a project engineer, I had personal responsibilities for multi-billion dollar efforts. I will bring this expertise to the management of our city.
My extensive experience, for the last four decades, in environmental and infrastructure management, plus my twelve years as an official on the California Water Quality Board, has given me the tools to ensure that will maintain and improve our quality of life for our residents and the future generations.
For example, while our new City Hall is a beautiful complex, the project management was flawed, and costs got way out of hand. That will not happen on my watch.
My wife and I are 19 year residents of Newport Beach. I have served as our Homeowner Association president, local Planning Commissioner, Red Cross Volunteer, a member of the Lincoln Club of Orange County and the Orange County Taxpayers Association. I have also served on the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board, helping clean up the Back Bay.
Let’s keep Newport Beach a world class city.
